BIKES FOR YOUTHS

At Bike Mi Vancouver we take donated bikes from the community and give them to youths. There are no strings attached, each bike is checked over to ensure its safety, as well as being fully functional for the recipient. How these bikes get to the youths is through the administration at various elementary schools throughout the city; where they will connect with the school’s liaison youth workers to ensure a suitable recipient is found. At Bike Mi Vancouver, we supply all the parts and labor, free of charge for the bikes repair.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

At Bike Mi Vancouver, we ensure protection of the environment by disposing of chemicals and used parts appropriately. We only use approved biodegradable solvents, cleaners for use on the bikes, all scrap metal and plastics are recycled at a local recycling depot for appropriate recycling.
