More about the Owner/Operator

My name is Jonathan Figueroa I was Born and raised in Canada and have lived in Vancouver ever since 1978. My passion and enthusiasm for cycling started over 40 years ago. I still remember the days of zooming around the small dirt pump track for hours and hours on end. My parents always were worried about me getting cold or hungry, but for some reason, I was never worried. I guess it’s because I was having too much fun. Today, cycling means more than just personal enjoyment to me; it's about empowering others and sharing the joy I've found on two wheels. While I still bike regularly, my focus now is on living a healthy lifestyle, using biking as a way to stay active and connected to the outdoors.

At Bike Mi Vancouver, we promote the use of bicycles as a healthy, affordable, and environmentally friendly form of transportation. Our mission is to enable and empower riders of all levels by providing high-quality, efficient, and affordable services. We want every ride to be a seamless, enjoyable experience for you.

History and Giving Back

I entered the bicycle mechanic business with a desire to contribute to the biking community. To kickstart my journey, I reached out to my family and friends for old bikes they no longer used or had outgrown. I used spare parts and ordered necessary items to be fully equipped for any bike repair job. Fast forward 13 years, Bike Mi Vancouver has not only provided top-notch services but has also given back to the community. We've donated over $10,000 in bike repairs, services, and tune-ups for children and families. Our mission is to share our passion and empower low-income individuals to be part of the biking community.
